The Awards are now closed for nominations for 2008.
News of next year's Awards will be posted on this site in January 2009.
All submissions must be received by the organisers no later than Thursday, 11th September 2008.
All nominations will initially be judged by the Managing Editor and Publisher of Builders' Merchants News, who will compile a shortlist of entries for each category. A judging panel of leading merchant industry figures will then judge each shortlist and determine a winner and two runners-up for each category.
• The information you provide must be correct to the best of your knowledge
• Ensure that your submission is entirely relevant to the category of award
• Be succinct, make your nominations clear and simple
• Use bullet points to help highlight your statements
• Nominations can be entered with pictures and/or brief support material
• Judges will be looking for evidence of sound strategies, achievement and innovation
Nominations will be accepted from builders, plumbers, timber, decorator, heating and other merchants, merchant wholesalers/distributors, architectural ironmongers, manufacturers and suppliers, housebuilders and contractors and installers and other supplier industry customers.
Nominations can be submitted for any Builders' Merchant or staff of a Merchant by third parties and Builders' Merchants are encouraged to submit nominations for their own company's/ their staff.
Companies and people can be nominated for more than one category of award.
All nominations will be treated in confidence and no part of any submission will be shown to anyone except the Awards judges.
