The judges will be looking for the national merchant business that has most successfully developed and improved its business since January 2016. This can be at group level, or within a subsidiary brand to a national merchant group. The merchant group or brand can have any number of branches, across any region of the UK.
What new initiatives were implemented? How did the merchant improve the customer experience? What new trading channels or branch upgrades were introduced?
Nominations should include comprehensive details of how these new initiatives were able to boost merchant sales and/or brand awareness. How were these results measured and what feedback has the merchant had from customers and/or suppliers as a result? Explain what this investment has meant to the company’s sales and the development of its customer base.
